Miro Tool & Mfg., Inc. is established by Jeff Brown.
The company started with four employees working in 3,000 square
feet of rented space. |

Purchased first wire EDM machine, a Mitsubishi with a travel of 8" x 12". |

Moved to a new location, renting 4,000 square feet of space. |
| 1992 |
Moved to current location, buying a 4,000 square foot building. |

Purchased first CNC vertical machining center, a Hitachi Seiki VK45. |
| 1993 |
Constructed a 5,000 square foot addition to the facility. |
| 1994 |
Purchased first press, a 60 ton Bliss. |
| 1997 |
Purchased two buildings located on the same property as the main
building. One building would become Miro Tool's
Laser & Fabrication department. The additional space gave
Miro Tool 26,000 square feet under roof. |

Purchased Mitsubishi laser machine. |
| 1999 |
Purchased AccurPress CNC press brake. The combination of the
laser machine, existing MIG and TIG welding capabilities and the
press brake allowed Miro Tool to enter the fabrication business.
Also began the service of designing and manufacturing special machinery
and fixtures. |
| 2001 |
Constructed a 12,000 square foot addition to the main building.
The space was used to increase the manufacturing area and start a
design department. Miro Tool's facilities now total in
excess of 38,000 square feet. |
| 2002 |
Purchased a 400 ton press and two (2) vertical machining centers each
with a travel of 35" x 85". Also purchased three (3) Mitsubishi
FA20 wire EDM machines each with a travel of 20" x 14". |
| 2003 |
Purchased a forklift with 20,000 lb. capacity. Further expanded lifting capacity
by installing a 10 ton overhead bridge crane. Purchased a Hitachi Seiki VS-50 CNC vertical
machining center with a travel of 20" x 40" and a 12,000 rpm spindle. Constructed a 4,000
square foot addition to the Press Operations building bringing Miro Tool's total facilities space
to 42,000 square feet. |
| 2004 |
Purchased a 1,000 ton Verson straight side press. This press has a capacity of
60" front to back by 144" left to right and a 36-1/4" shut height. Also purchased a 48"
CWP coil handling system to support the 1,000 ton press. The feedline can handle stock
thicknesses ranging from .021" to .250". |
| 2005 |
Purchased a Hurco VMX24 CNC vertical machining center with a travel of 20 x 24 and a 10,000 rpm spindle. |
| 2006 |
Added four presses to expand Miro Tools stamping capability. The presses range
from 35 to 100 tons. One 35 ton press is outfitted with an 8 coil handling system.
The 100 ton press has an 18 coil handling system. Also purchased were a 10 Niagara shear,
a 2.7 ton Neff press with hot form capability, a 1 ton United Silicone hot stamp press and a
Despatch environmental chamber. |

Purchased a 200 ton Niagara straight side press with an air cushion.
A Di-Acro power bender was purchased to enhance prototype and fabrication capabilities. |
